  2. Why is it your favorite movie?

Here Are Our Team’s Answers

Dr. Harry Landsaw:

“My favorite movies are the ones that have twists and turns in the ending like The Village, Face Off, Swordfish and The Negotiator. But my favorite movie is from my childhood and has classic lines that my bother, sister, and I can totally talk only using quotes from: Caddyshack. ie.. ‘So the Dalai Lama says, ‘when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.’ So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.’”

Dr. Jannah Landsaw:

“I love Grease! The dancing, the singing, the story. This is the movie that started me on my love for musicals so it holds a special place in my heart.”

Claire:

The 10 Commandments is my favorite movie. The special effects were awesome and made by imagination and human intelligence not just computers. The story is very special to me and my beliefs.”

Darlene:

Blast from the Past. I like the movie because it was sooo funny!!!”

Debbie:

Goonies. Why? I mean really how could you not like this movie? Goonies never say die!”

Maggie:

The Princess Bride (1987) – Because it’s a classic fairy tale, with pirates, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing. It has the Cliffs of Insanity, Rodents of Unusual Size and the Pit of Despair. There is fencing. Fighting. Torture. Revenge. Giants. Monsters. Chases. Escapes. True love. Miracles. Also Carey Elwes and Mandy Patinkin in tights.”

Natalie:

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002). I love this movie because it leaves you guessing until the very end. There are so many surprise twists and changes in the story line that it is like watching three movies in one!”

Rick:

Monty Python’s Life of Brian. I love this movie because it cracks me up every time I see it!”
